(It changes when you pull the cord at the bottom of it)
At around 1:00 we walked to the Heidelberg Castle. The castle is the biggest tourist attraction in Hiedelberg and is visible from anywhere in the city. Not 20 yards from the castle walls was a fraternity house which put any at SMU to shame.
The castle burned down in 1796 after being struck by lightning and is partly in ruins.
In the basement of the castle is a huge wine barrel. The king used to require taxes payed in wine as well as crops and gold; everyone brought and dumped their wine into this barrel.
We parted ways with Phillip after our castle visit and headed to Ninas house for dumpfnudel. Daniel insisted we visit the mini zoo/ park a second time because Cory was showering and didn't go the first.showered, ate dinner, did laundry, and hung out with Rainer, Daniel, Lukas and Nina. Went to bed a bit early, we are catching a train for Interlaken, Switzerland tomorrow morning!
