Day Two: Arrival

Touched down in Frankfurt at 9:20 am (2:00 am St Louis time), unfortunately the TVs were broken on our 8.5 hour flight and this plane was one of the 4% of United 777s that didn't have free wifi. 

I immediately regretted only bringing an iPod and iPhone for entertainment. Despite this, we all got about 3-4 hour of sleep, and we didn't check any bags, so that was good.

Europe Trip Lesson #1, don't rely on the TVs on the airplane to work. 

It was raining when we landed and seems like it's about 70 degrees. We found Corys family friends, the Sauberts, at the airport and drove us back to their house. They had beer waiting in the car, haha nothing better than a 10 am Germany time (3:30 am St Louis time) Beer!

We spent most of the day hanging out with the Sauberts, took a 2 hour nap, watched the Karlsruhe/ Hamburg Futbol game, ate lunch, dinner and then rode bikes for a while and found icecream.
